Ultra-high magnification BIO lens!

Delivering unparalleled magnification, the new MaculaPlus 5.5 is excellent for detailed observation of the optic nerve head and macula.

Use it in concert with your binocular indirect ophthalmoscope for detecting changes related to choroidal vascular membranes, macular edema, serous detachments and other macular abnormalities.

It is excellent for evaluating micro neovascularization of the disc and optic nerve head in glaucomatous patients.

Multi Adapter Sets

20D Multi Adapter Set.
Instantly transform your 20D! Volk's 20 Diopter Double AsphericT Lens can now be instantly transformed into a 16D, 24D or 28D lens with simple add-on plus or minus power adapters, providing an optimum range of image magnification and field of view. Precision designed and lightweight, these durable Glass power-modifying adapter lenses connect directly to the 20D ring utilizing special flexible tabs for easy and secure press in/pull out power changes.

16D Power Adapter. When connected to the 20D lens, this adapter provides a total 3.9x lateral image magnification with a large 35° field of view. With an axial magnification of 15.21x, this lens is ideal for highly magnified and detailed disc and macula viewing.

24D Power Adapter. This adapter maintains the 20 diopter's clear aperture of 48mm while providing an impressive 56° field of view and 2.64x magnification. Larger than competitive 24 diopter lenses, this indirect lens is well suited for both general diagnosis and wide field imaging.

28D Power Adapter. With a clear aperture 10mm larger than typical 28 diopter lenses, this lens combination provides an exceptionally wide 60° field of view while maintaining a relatively high 2.39x magnification. This lens provides outstanding resolution and an exceedingly wide-field fundus scanning capability.

Yellow Filter Adapter. Removing wavelengths below 490nm while fully transmitting those visible wavelengths necessary for full color image production, the Yellow Filter Adapter provides patient comfort and retinal protection during typical and prolonged examinations.
