OCULUS Perimeters

Oculus Easyfield

The OCULUS Easyfield is an exciting new compact perimeter to do static perimetry up to 30°. It has been designed for the combined use as a visual field screener and perimeter, offering features usually available only in large units.

The Easyfield’s integrated bowl with a 11.81” (30 cm) radius and distance corrected lens is adapted to the Goldmann standard and fulfills the ISO-norm 12866 for perimeters.

The Easyfield has a fixed point grid with 135 test locations including 30-2.

Centrefield 2

Self-contained - the self-contained measurement system makes examination largely independent of room illumination. Perimetry therefore no longer needs to be carried out in an absolutely dark room.

  • The hardware concept permits easy upgrading in future.
  • The intuitive user interface also permits the creation of individual programs and significantly reduces operator training time.
  • Examination up to 70° are possible with fixation shift.
  • The Centerfield 2 may be connected to a USB port.
  • The ergonomic, compact design and the uncomplicated test procedures improve patient compliance and contribute to best possible total results.
  • Chinrest (optional) - the integrated chinrest is moved electronically by keyboard operations.
  • The Centerfield 2 is the only compact Perimeter, which examins up to 70°.

Oculus Twinfield 2 - All Measurement Principles in a Single Device

The compact Twinfield 2, with its integrated PC, TFT flat-screen monitor, miniature keyboard and printer, is easy to use and unites all control elements with the greatest economy of space. The TFT flat-screen monitor and the printer can be positioned to the right of left side of the perimetric measuring unit as desired.

Static perimetry
Not only static perimetry with classic or fast threshold measurement, but also suprathreshold examination with pre-programmed and customer-defined test point grids.

Kinetic perimetry
Automatic and/or manual kinetic examination for quick additional information and diagnosis confirmation.

Color Perimetry
Red or blue stimuli can be presented both statically and kinetically on a white or yellow background.

The Goldmann Standard
Together with manual positioning and movement of the stimulus (kinetics), the form, size, and luminance of the stimuli are based on the Goldmann Standard and thus also permit expert legal assessment of blindness or abilityto drive a vehicle. (National laws may vary.)

Universal, Fast, Compact
For daily routine in clinics and practitioners´ examinations, a follow-up program, and statistical analysis of results plus optional incorporation of Peridata, the statistics program.

Technical Highlights

Back-Surface Projection
The Twinfield 2 uses the principle of back-surface projection. Different projectors are mounted on a movable arm. Every position on the perimeter bowl can be accessed with this system. The stimuli are shown exactly, with precise reproducibility of test point locations - an essential condition for reliable visual field findings.
Static perimetry with every type of test point grid as well as kinetic automatic and manual perimetry is now possible for the first time with this concept in a bowl perimeter.

For 50 years OCULUS has been well known on the perimetery market, and at the moment OCULUS is the only manufacturer of Perimeters 'Made in Germany'.
